Planning permission was granted in 2008 to renovate and extend the Light House facility.
The project will cost in the region
of 900,000 Euro of which some 80% has been received. We are
currently searching for a temporary home for the drop-in so that we can continue
services while the renovation takes place.
Along with more space for the Drop-In, facilities will include -
- a new kitchen
- extended storage and sorting facilities for clothing and bedding
- shower and changing facilities
- food storage
- offices and counselling rooms
