Volunteering in Youth Clubs

  • Help with bus runs (collecting the kids)
  • Help prepare the building for club
  • Be ready and willing to welcome the kids as soon as they arrive
  • Encourage our young people to participate in session and activities
  • Build relationships where you can share your faith on a more personal level
  • Help teach Bible verse, lead singing or do the talk at session time
  • Make sure that there is a leader with each group of kids around the building
  • Bus run home or helping tidy the building
Volunteering in Just ASK
  • Show consistency and commitment
  • Promote a positive and encouraging homework atmosphere, including child protection and safety
  • Involve kids in productive activities when they are finished their homework (sports, computers, crafts, etc.)
  • Preparation before club and tidy up after club
  • Helping with meal time
