We want to love people and lead them towards Jesus Christ.
Dublin Christian Mission is a non-denominational organization located in the heart of Ireland’s largest city. Our goal is simple: meet the physical and spiritual needs of our community. We seek to work in neighborhoods that have a high rate of drug abuse, poverty, broken homes, abuse, teenage pregnancy, and crime. We believe these high-risk communities have incredible potential and it is our hope that through our various ministries, we can help others find freedom and healing.

Non-denominational Ministry: Though we are a Christian organization, we do not subscribe to a specific denomination, and regularly work with various churches and individuals who share the same goal. All Christians participating in the mission do so with the understanding that the activity they are involved in will not become a platform for any principles or practices particular to any church background. Statement of Faith:
Dublin Christian Mission is a community of people devoted to spreading the love of Christ to everyone we encounter. Although we don't subscribe to a particular denomination, these verses provide a summary of the things we hold to be true:
We believe the most important commandment is to love the Lord your God will your all your heart, soul, and mind. The second most important commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:37-39)
We believe that the Scriptures are God-breathed, without error, and still useful and relevant to today. (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe in the sinful nature of man and the need for God to redeem the fallen nature. (Romans 3:23, 1 John 1:8-10)
We believe in the Trinity — the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19-20)
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and eternal life is given to all those who receive Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 3:16-17, John 14:6)
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit who transforms the sinner. (John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8)
We believe that salvation is by faith and grace alone, and cannot be earned through our actions. (Ephesians 2:8-10)
History of Mission:
Dublin Christian Mission started as the Dublin City Mission in 1828, making it the second oldest independent city mission in the world. In 1965, the City Mission combined with the Dublin Medical Mission (1891) and the Dublin Mission (1953) to form the present Mission. In more recent years, the Mission has been engaged in youth work and homeless ministry in three locations throughout Dublin. Currently, the Mission’s activities include a Christian community centre for all ages and a homeless outreach centre.
Dublin is the capital of Ireland and has been established for over 1,000 years. Some of the most famous sites of Dublin include The Christ Cathedral, The Guinness Factory, and Trinity College. Though, Dublin is a city busy with pedestrians and multiple dining options, it is surrounded by many small rural towns easily accesible by train or bus.

The city is divided north to south by the River Liffey. The south side of the Liffey is home to many shops as well as Temple Bar — the biggest tourist part of Dublin. Most of the time you'll be able to catch street musicans and shows taking place in these streets. The north side of the Liffey hosts more businesses and residential areas. Primarily, people find their way around the city on foot but it is not uncommon to catch a bus or ride a bike. The weather stays chilly most of the year with fairly sunny summers.
